My inspiration for the choreography Looking for Starlings (2023) are the birds – they fly together in flocks to safeguard each other against intruders and predators. The group is protecting the individual. In this choreography I wanted to create a “flock of dancers”, moving big into the space, gaining strength by challenging and supporting each other and interacting with the public.
